Reference material for configuring monitors, understanding status, reviewing incidents and using the dashboard.

This is the first KARTRE documentation foundation. We can expand this into a full product documentation system as features are added.

01 • Setup

Create a monitor

From the Dashboard, select + Add Monitor, enter the monitor name and URL, then choose the desired check interval and timeout.

Name: My Website URL: https://example.com Interval: 60 seconds Timeout: 10 seconds

02 • Configuration

Manage monitors

Use Edit to change monitor configuration. Use Activate or Deactivate to control whether a monitor is actively checked.

03 • Status

Monitor statuses

UP — latest check succeeded.
DOWN — latest check failed.
INACTIVE — monitor is disabled.
UNKNOWN — no usable check result is available yet.

04 • Incidents

Incident history

Open a monitor to see recorded incidents, whether they remain open or have been resolved, the reason, and timestamps.

05 • Performance

Response time & uptime

The monitor details view provides uptime percentage, average response time, total checks, failed checks, latest response time, HTTP status and a response-time chart for the last 24 hours.

06 • Troubleshooting

When a monitor is DOWN

Open the monitor details first. Review the latest HTTP status, response time, check history and incident reason. If the target is intentionally unavailable, verify the target service before changing the monitor configuration.
